Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking a compassionate Counselor III (ISUDT) to deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). The role involves facilitating CBI classes, conducting individual sessions, and documenting progress.

The position is full-time, on-site in California, with a hourly wage of $32.00 and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Certified as an AOD Counselor with an DHCS-approved organization.
• One year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct classes and individual sessions to develop release plans and make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.
• Work with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institutions, and contracted staff.

About the Position:

TheCounselor III (ISUDT)The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate CBI classes, using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to the participants.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and
