Job summary

Amity Foundation seeks compassionate individuals to join our prison and re-entry programs as Counselor II/III. The role focuses on delivering rehabilitative services within the ISUDTP, facilitating evidence-based classes, and guiding participants toward release prevention plans.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with CDCR/CCHCS staff, and maintaining engagement with participants to reinforce norms and completion of programs.

Qualifications

• Counselor II must be certified as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III must be certified as an AOD Counselor with 1 year of full-time experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming in ISUDTP.
• Facilitate classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans.
• Evaluate and document participants' progress.
• Document services in ARMS and coordinate with staff.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce program norms.
