Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Domestic Home Sale Counselor in Houston, Texas
This is a hybrid role requiring two in-office days in Houston. The Home Sale Counselor is responsible for facilitating the overall relocation process for employees who are homeowners in their origin location. The position involves transferee case management, customer satisfaction, service delivery, supplier coordination, and revenue generation.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the main point of contact for administering the relocation process for transferees who are homeowners.
- Overseeing the delivery of relocation services to ensure high-quality service.
- Conducting needs assessments to establish specific requirements and address custom needs.
- Working with transferees and their families to meet their needs.
- Adjusting services and counseling throughout the move process.
- Managing the home finding process to maximize referral fee income and collection, including timely data entry and opportunity management.
- Providing ongoing advice and support, including policy counseling, home marketing, appraisals, inspections, benefits utilization, financial services, and supplier coordination.
- Coordinating third-party services related to home finding, appraisals, inspections, mortgage servicing, temporary living, move management, and spousal counseling.
- Evaluating exception requests and providing solutions for move-related scenarios.
- Managing costs and expenses to maximize benefits and minimize costs.
- Measuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate documentation and data integrity.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relocation counselor experience
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Real estate experience and license preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's degree a plus
