Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an experienced clinician to coordinate assessment services and admissions within our behavioral health programs. You will perform comprehensive screenings, assist with precertifications, and ensure timely documentation in the electronic clinical record (ECR).

Responsibilities include brief individual therapy, case management, and collaboration with the clinical team to arrange appropriate referrals and levels of care. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • Must meet one of the following requirements: Master’s Degree with licensure OR pursuing licensure (CAADC) OR CADC plus 2 years of counseling experience.
  • CADC certification or progress toward licensure is acceptable.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus CADC and 2 years of counseling experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings and level of care assessments with clients.
  • Evaluate behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs.
  • Complete precertification and admissions paperwork promptly.
  • Maintain clinical records in ECR in compliance with policy.
  • Provide brief individual therapy and case management as needed.
  • Coordinate with clinical team for appropriate referrals and placements.

Summary:

Responsible for facilitating all assessment services for program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with clinical philosophy of program.

Shift:

Sunday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $47,500 - $50,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts screenings and level of care assessments, using clinical knowledge and skill level and communicate the process with clients.
  • Evaluates behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients Collect demographic and historical information relevant to the LOCA.
  • Gather information for and complete precertification for all managed care clients when applicable.
  • Facilitate admission process by communicating with appropriate clinical team member as required.
  • Facilitates appropriate admissions to all levels of care.
  • Makes appropriate referrals to community providers and finds placement in appropriate setting for the client.
  • Completes assessment, admission, and other paperwork for clients to in a timely manner. Including but not limited to Releases of Information (ROI) and other admission paperwork.
  • Manage admission pre-certification with funding sources when applicable.
  • Collaborates with other team member, and departments as needed.
  • Expected to provide coverage for other clinical team members.
  • Responsible for maintaining clinical record for clients with appropriate documentation of clinical services and client program engagement in ECR in accordance with program policy.
  • Conducts brief individual therapy to engage patient in treatment and documents appropriately.
  • Provides case management and linkage to alternate services if indicated.
  • Develops an initial treatment plan. Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications Education, Licensure, & Experience:

Must meet one of the following requirements:

1.) Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling

2.) Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC)

3. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling AND a CADC OR are working towards a CADC AND 2 years of counseling experience (group therapy/individual therapy/family therapy).
