Job Overview

We offer various schedules, including part-time (18-34 hours/week) and full-time (35-40 hours/week), typically Monday-Friday, with some evening and weekend shifts. Hybrid work options may be available.

About Us

BestSelf Behavioral Health is redefining mental health and wellness with comprehensive, innovative services. We focus on person-centered, trauma-informed care to support adults, youth, young adults, and families in recovery from addiction across multiple programs, including Renaissance Addiction Services and Lighthouse Women's Residence.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, support services for families, and crisis counseling.
• Perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, discharges, and client referrals in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond promptly during crises, developing safety plans and embracing harm reduction models.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or CASAC-T/P.
• Professional licensure such as LMSW, LMFT, MHC-P, CASAC, CRC, LMHC, LCSW preferred.
• Knowledge of intervention techniques, mental health diagnoses, and substance use resources.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with community resources.
• Proficiency with Windows applications and Electronic Medical Records.
• Cultural competence and cross-cultural counseling awareness.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and ability to travel between sites; Defensive Driving Course may be required.

Salary Range

Unlicensed Counselors: $43,500-$59,413/year; Licensed Counselors: $45,500-$66,242/year, depending on hours and licensure.
