Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Fresno, CA is seeking a full-time counselor to manage counseling, group facilitation and case management for program clients. Responsibilities include intake, treatment planning, and coordinating referrals with community resources.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct counseling experience preferred.
• Confidentiality and ethical conduct required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• CDCR clearance and LEIE/MSIL/EPLS clearances required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain WestCare vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling, case management, education and outreach services.
• Oversee intake and program orientation, assess psychosocial functioning, and develop Individual Treatment Plans.
• Facilitate family support and referral networking; update referral resources.
• Maintain client treatment files per policies; document vocational/educational activities.
