Waco ISD is seeking a Counselor for the Greater Waco Academies to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive guidance program for students, helping them maximize personal growth and prepare for postsecondary opportunities.
Responsibilities include coordinating career and technical education activities, mentoring students, coordinating scheduling, dual credit processes, and ensuring access to programs for all students.

Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance to school assigned, including counseling services. Provide a proactive developmental guidance program to encourage all students to maximize personal grow and development. Provide support services and activities, other than administrative, to ensure students access to the full range of programs available to them. The Career Counselor will provide students the necessary support services and activities required for them to be successful in the attainment of academic and occupational competencies necessary for employment and/or post‑secondary training.
