Waco ISD is seeking a Teacher at Cesar Chavez Middle to deliver Middle School/CTE Technology Applications. You will develop engaging lessons aligned to district standards, assess student progress and integrate technology across the curriculum.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate, with the ability to manage diverse learners and collaborate with staff. This is a full-time, exempt position based on the district's calendar.

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
Knowledge of subjects assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
Supervise assigned teacher aide(s).
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
