Oklahoma State University is seeking a qualified counselor to provide individual and group counseling to students facing alcohol and substance abuse issues at OSU Stillwater. The role includes evaluation, crisis intervention, and educational outreach, with supervision of practicum and intern students.
The candidate should hold a Master\'s degree in psychology or counseling and be eligible for Oklahoma licensure as a psychologist, LPC, or LMFT, with a view to licensure within two years.
Provide individual and group counseling, evaluation and assessment for university students with alcohol and substance abuse issues.
Provide general counseling of students as needed. The staff member will perform administrative duties, provide emergency/crisis intervention, provide consultation to members of the university community, provide educational outreach programs, and periodically supervise practicum and intern graduate students.
Eligibility for Oklahoma Alcohol and Drug Counselor licensure, with the ability to obtain licensure within two years of employment.
Oklahoma license eligible as a psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist. License must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment.

Appointment: permanent 10‑month term (August 1 – May 31).
Salary range: $57,500 – $72,000.
