Job summary

Salvation Army in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a part-time case manager to support beneficiaries in a rehabilitation program. You will manage a caseload, develop program goals, and meet with clients and staff to evaluate progress.

Evening shift opportunities with benefits. Prior experience in direct case management or related field preferred; Certified Addiction Counselor certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of satisfactory employment experience working in direct case management, social services or related field.
• Equivalent training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors assigned caseload of Beneficiaries participating in a rehabilitation program.
• Develops program plan/goals and evaluates beneficiaries progress by conducting routine meetings with Beneficiaries and/or staff.
• Serves as advocate for Beneficiaries to acquire services that enable them to functionally cope with their environment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of satisfactory employment experience working in direct case management, social services or related field. or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Addiction Counselor (Certificates) Preferred but not required.
