Job summary

The Salvation Army in Hyattsville, MD is looking for a Part Time Case Manager to support ARC-WASHINGTON ARC DIRECT TO CLIENTELE. The role offers an evening schedule with benefits and focuses on assisting beneficiaries in a rehabilitation program.

You will manage a caseload, develop individualized plans, monitor progress, and advocate for services to help beneficiaries cope with their environment. A minimum of two years in direct case management is required; certification as an Addiction

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of direct case management or related social services experience.
• Equivalent training or combination of experience may apply.
• Experience working with beneficiaries in rehabilitation programs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors assigned caseload of Beneficiaries in a rehabilitation program; develops program plans and goals and evaluates progress through routine meetings.
• Advocates for Beneficiaries to obtain services needed to cope with their environment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of satisfactory employment experience working in direct case management, social services or related field. or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Addiction Counselor (Certificates) Preferred but not required.
