Job description

Counselor (Correctional Facility). Community Transitional Services, a Kentucky Department of Corrections contracted correctional facility, is seeking candidates for Counselors.

The facility administers substance abuse treatment to men referred by the Department of Corrections. Pay is $19.00 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience. The position offers a path to CADC licensure with required supervision each week. TCADC will be compensated by the employer. In addition to hourly rate, employees are eligible for a monthly performance/attendance bonus of up to $175.

Responsibilities:

• Case management, weekly counseling sessions, facilitating groups/classes, overseeing the disciplinary process, assisting in program progress, etc.
