Job description

Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. The program emphasizes a comfortable medical detox experience, dignified recovery, and well‑furnished rooms with good nutrition. Individual and group counseling are offered, and 12‑Step meetings are provided to support clients after treatment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• New patient intake and orientation
• Facilitate orientation groups with patients
• Conduct group sessions for all patients
• Address patient concerns and help eliminate the possibility of AMA
• Provide case management
• Document in the patient medical record

Requirements

• CAP, MCAP or mental health license (preferred)
• Minimum one-year experience in the substance abuse field, detox preferred
• Experience conducting group sessions
• Minimum education: Master’s degree in Human Services or related field
• Flexibility and willingness are great attributes

Schedule

• Full time
• 4 shifts of 10 hours long OR 5 shifts of 8 hours long, depending on census
• Must be open to 1 weekend shift per week OR rotating weekends

Compensation

Hourly rate competitive with experience and location.
