Oakton Community College seeks a licensed mental health practitioner to provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students. Under supervision, you will consult with faculty and staff on student issues and coordinate counseling services.
Responsibilities include counseling Oakton students, referring outside services when needed, responding to crises, and delivering trainings to faculty and staff on student wellness. Flexible evening hours are required.

Basic Function and Responsibility: Under general supervision, provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students, and consultation to faculty and staff regarding student issues and concerns.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision Received: Functional supervision is received from the Coordinator of Counseling Services. Administrative supervision is received from the Dean of Counseling, Health and Wellness Services
Supervision Exercised: Functional supervision may be exercised over student employees. Clinical supervision may be exercised over graduate interns.
Qualifications and Working Conditions:
Hourly: $37.81
Schedule 25 hours per week 9:00-5:00 (3 Days)
