Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Chesapeake, VA seeks a full-time counselor to provide group and individual counseling, case management, and clinical documentation within a therapeutic community setting at Indian Creek Correctional Center. A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field is required, with CSAC certification within two years of hire.

Overview

Location: Chesapeake, VA 23328

Position Type: Full Time | Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:45 AM–4:45 PM with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. Openings: 9. Salary: $52,000 per year ($25.00/hour). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent certification/license are eligible for $58,000 per year ($27.88/hour).

Employer operates at Indian Creek Correctional Center and houses 1,060 male inmates with a therapeutic community treatment program.
