Job summary

Serve Robotics, a technology firm developing autonomous sidewalk delivery robots, seeks a Counsel for Contracts & Legal Operations to join its legal team. The role blends transactional work with strategic operations, managing a portfolio of commercial agreements and leading negotiations.

You will draft templates, implement AI-powered tools, and collaborate with Procurement, IT and Finance to enforce compliance and drive efficiency in a fast-growing tech company based in the United States.

Qualifications

JD from ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
Minimum of three (3) years of legal experience focused on commercial contracts (SaaS, technology, or professional services).
Demonstrated ability to independently manage contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation.
Strong understanding of commercial provisions including intellectual property licensing, data privacy, and liability allocation.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of commercial agreements (SaaS, vendor, and customer transactions).
Lead end-to-end negotiations.
Draft standardized contract templates.
Drive adoption of AI-powered tools and workflow automation in contracts.
Partner with Procurement, IT, and Finance to ensure regulatory compliance and business efficiency.
