Responsibilities include:

• Investigating, analyzing, and resolving claims and demands made by attorneys representing consumers in consumer litigation, including lemon law, product liability, and subrogation claims nationwide.
• Conducting legal research projects involving warranty and automotive law questions.
• Retaining and collaborating with outside counsel for handling consumer lawsuits.
• Managing and supporting lawsuit strategies filed by consumer attorneys.
• Advising consumer affairs case managers on case handling and resolution strategies.
• Attending mediations, arbitrations, and trials alongside outside counsel.
• Managing claims and lawsuits efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Providing counseling and training to departments, dealerships, and business units as needed.

Qualifications include:

• Passed CA bar exam
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred
• Experience in consumer litigation or lemon law is a plus
