TD Mount Laurel is seeking a Counsel to provide legal advice and support to management and employees within Corporate Group functions and business units. You will manage litigation, negotiate contracts, and advise on regulatory developments while addressing potential legal risks.

The role supports US Commercial Banking & Shared Services Legal, collaborating with senior leadership, credit risk, relationship managers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and sound risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Functions as a legal resource focusing on one or more defined subject matters and/or specific businesses. Typical tasks include managing litigation, negotiating contracts, assisting the Business with product roll-outs, and advising the Business regarding regulatory developments. Responsible for anticipating and addressing potential legal risks. Relies on legal skills, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.TD's US Commercial Banking & Shared Services Legal team supports the US Commercial Bank and Shared Services, helping to enable their business strategies while managing legal risks presented in day-to-day operations.
