Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active bar license, or eligibility to become admitted promptly.
• Strong academic, legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, customer contracts.
• Support contract negotiations by preparing drafts and redlines and resolving open points.
• Assist with product and regulatory matters, including preparing terms, policies, notices, and disclosures for customers.
• Research federal and state laws and regulations affecting Flex and translate research into guidance for teams.
• Support regulatory and licensing work, including preparing filings and gathering information.
• Assist with disputes, litigation, and recovery matters, including coordinating with outside counsel.
• Help maintain corporate records and support governance and general corporate matters.
• Collaborate with teams across Flex to gather facts and respond quickly.
• Help build templates, playbooks, and tools to improve the Legal function.

Flex Fuels Ambition. What You'll Do • Draft, review, and revise commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, customer contracts, and other day-to-day agreements across the business. • Support contract negotiations by preparing drafts and redlines, researching issues, and working with senior members of the Legal team to resolve open points. • Assist with product and regulatory matters, including researching legal requirements, reviewing product materials and disclosures, and helping prepare terms, policies, notices, and other customer-facing materials. • Research federal and state laws and regulations affecting Flex and help turn that research into clear, practical guidance for the Legal & Compliance team and our business partners. • Support regulatory and licensing work, including preparing filings, gathering information, maintaining records, and helping respond to requests from regulators, banks, and other partners. • Assist with disputes, litigation, collections, and recovery matters, including researching claims, organizing records, preparing correspondence, and coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel. • Help maintain Flex's corporate records and support governance and other general corporate matters. • Work directly with teams across Flex to gather facts, understand business needs, and help the Legal team respond quickly and effectively. • Help build and improve the templates, playbooks, processes, and tools we use to make the Legal function more efficient. • Use AI and other technology as part of your everyday practice, and help us find new ways to automate routine legal work and make the entire team better.
