We are seeking a skilled Couchbase Database Developer with a strong foundation in .NET and SQL to join our remote team on a contract basis. This role will focus on developing and optimizing N1QL queries, integrating Couchbase with .NET applications, and ensuring performance and scalability of our database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex N1QL queries to support high-performance Couchbase databases.
• Integrate Couchbase databases with .NET applications by developing and maintaining application components.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance and reliability issues.
• Stay abreast of Couchbase updates and best practices; recommend and implement enhancements.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with Couchbase and writing complex N1QL queries.
• In-depth knowledge of Couchbase architecture, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Experience with .NET programming, preferably in C#.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with other NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices-based architecture.
