Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks an Application Developer in Atlanta to support configuration of the FASTDS-VS® COTS application across six modules and subsystems. The role covers requirements gathering, configuration tasks, user access setup, change development, scripting, debugging, and testing.

The candidate must understand traditional and Agile development methodologies and contribute to production support while coordinating with stakeholders on implementation details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems or Mathematics.
• 2 years' experience with a SQL database.
• 2 years' experience with OO development (.Net, Java, C#, VB).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and perform analysis for configuration of FASTDS-VS® COTS.
• Configure application, reference tables, and user access permissions.
• Develop changes, scripts, and perform debugging and testing; manage source control.
• Prepare implementation specifications and provide production application support.
