Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking an Application Developer to support configuration of FASTDS-VS® COTS software across six modules and subsystems. You will gather requirements, perform analysis, configure applications, set up users and permissions, and develop change requests, scripts, and test plans.

You will also provide production support and collaborate in Agile and traditional development environments. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 2 years SQL experience, OO development experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Math or related field.
2 years’ experience with SQL databases.
2 years’ experience with OO development (.Net, Java, C#, VB).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Working knowledge of software development methodologies and coding best practices.
Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
Experience with web services.
Familiarity with APIs.
Experience with AWS.
Knowledge of SQL Stored procedures.

Responsibilities

Support configuration of the FASTDS-VS® COTS application across multiple modules.
Perform requirement gathering and analysis for changes.
Configure application settings and reference tables; set up users and permissions.
Develop changes, scripts and perform debugging and testing.
Coordinate with source control and production support.
Prepare implementation specifications and provide production support.
