Job summary

COTALAND at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, is hiring for a Steward / Dishwasher to support our Food & Beverage operations. You will maintain a clean, safe kitchen, operate dishwashing equipment, and help keep back-of-house areas orderly.

We seek team players who thrive in a busy environment, follow health and safety guidelines, and assist culinary teams with essential tasks. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Remove trash, recycling, and compost to maintain a safe work environment.

The Steward / Dishwasher at COTALAND plays a vital role in supporting our Food & Beverage operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position ensures sanitation standards are met so our culinary teams can deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced theme park setting.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

• Clean, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manual ware washing equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of all back-of-house areas including kitchens, prep areas, walk-ins, storage rooms, floors, walls, and drains
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost throughout shifts to maintain a safe work environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Obtain a Texas food handers certification.
• Previous kitchen, stewarding, or sanitation experience is preferred, but not required, training is provided.
• Physical Demand & Work Environments:
• Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Work in extreme environments indoors/outdoors throughout the year.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.

Work Schedule:

This position is based on-site at COTALAND Theme Park at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.

Crew Members should be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, rehearsals, special events, and seasonal peak operating periods.
