Job summary
KARE LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist Assistants to treat patients in senior living communities in Colorado. Responsibilities include adhering to community guidelines and documenting treatments. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited COTA program and have current Texas licensure. Benefits include immediate pay, a referral program, and various perks. Experience with memory care is a plus. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, or 1 year in acute care or similar settings.
Qualifications
Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
Minimum requirement: 2 years clinical experience, or 1 year clinical experience directly in acute care, skilled nursing, and/or AL/MC.
CPR Certification (optional).
Responsibilities
Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
Record treatments and progress notes in medical record.
Communicate with supervisor and health team about patient progress.
Report any changes in residents' condition or behavior.
Instruct family or nursing staff in maintenance program.
