Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN positions. The COTA will provide treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and document patient progress accordingly.

Responsibilities include adherence to treatment goals, timely progress notes, collaboration with disciplines, and maintaining professional conduct. A sign-on bonus is available, and Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and professionalism.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment adhering to goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback via documentation as required by facility policy.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Maintain timely weekly progress notes documenting patient progress.
• Report to work on time and maintain professional conduct.
• Perform duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
