Job summary

Highlandmanornh seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join its rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will assist in carrying out the plan of care for residents under supervision, working closely with the supervising therapist to monitor progress and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Active licensure/certification as a COTA or OTA is required, with preference for experience in older adult rehabilitation and knowledge of regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an accredited college with minimally an associate degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
• Active state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the plan of treatment for residents as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate with supervising therapist to communicate resident status and responses for quality outcomes.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide feedback to the therapist and Rehabilitation Director on clinical issues.
• Participate in center processes and in-service trainings as requested.
• Effectively manage treatment-related activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
