Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Florida. You will provide therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and help implement individualized treatment plans for patient rehabilitation and recovery.

The role involves direct therapy, patient evaluations, and collaboration with the OT to ensure progress toward goals, accurate documentation, and ongoing communication with the care

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Active state licensure as a COTA.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services under supervision.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments.
• Support development and execution of individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising OT.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.
