Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This position offers a sign-on bonus and highly competitive rates to support patient progress and quality care.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, document sessions, and monitor progress while maintaining a safe and organized therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
