Job summary

Manatawny Manor in Montgomery County, PA seeks a full-time COTA to join our therapy team. The COTA will provide comprehensive treatment under the supervision of an OTR and help identify appropriate patients for rehab referrals.

Responsibilities include documenting progress with weekly notes, ensuring orders are obtained for treatments and discharges, and attending meetings as needed. State guidelines must be followed, and additional duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must have current COTA license
• One-year of related experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
