Job summary

Manatawny Manor in Pottstown, PA is seeking a part-time COTA- Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team.

You will provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR, assist with referrals, and document progress. This position requires a current COTA license and at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
