Job summary

The Beach Post-Acute in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Per-Diem/Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehab team. The role offers a pay range of $42.00-$44.00 per hour and requires licensure and an associate degree from an accredited COTA program.

You will assist in developing treatment plans, implement therapeutic activities, document progress, and educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current licensure.
• Associate's degree from an accredited COTA program required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of occupational therapy treatments.
• Carry out treatment plans and document progress in patient records.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to plan activities and programs.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use.
• Evaluate daily living skills and assist patients in dressing and grooming.
• Transport patients to and from therapy areas.
