Job summary

Belle Haven is seeking a PRN COTA - Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our rehab team in Quakertown, PA. The role supports patients with therapies under supervision and collaborates with physicians and staff.

You will provide treatment, document progress, assist with referrals, and participate in meetings as needed. Prior OT experience and PA licensure are required. This position is on-site at our facility.

Qualifications

• Must have current COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license.
• One year of related experience in occupational therapy assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes and obtain the OTR's cosignature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Participate in facility and rehab meetings as indicated and perform other duties as assigned.
