Job summary

Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation in Billings, Montana, seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the licensed therapist in delivering resident-focused care and promoting independence in daily activities.

You will document accurately, participate in care conferences, educate residents and families, help order adaptive equipment, and assist with discharge planning while maintaining infection control and patient safety in a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state.
• CPR certification requirement per licensure.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Assist with ordering of durable medical equipment to promote independence in ADLs.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols in daily practice.
• Support quality assurance and rehabilitation program development as assigned.
