Riverwood Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team, providing therapy services under a licensed Occupational Therapist's supervision. You will help implement individualized treatment plans, conduct patient sessions, document progress, and collaborate to achieve short- and long-term rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, including short-term and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and any concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.
