Job summary

Cascadia EE LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support rehabilitation for residents under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans and facilitating activities that promote functional independence.

This position requires graduate from a COTA program, current COTA license, CPR certification, and at least six months in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current COTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers a treatment program with goals determined by resident capacity under physician direction.
• Assists patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises per plan developed with an occupational therapist.
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and progress monitoring.
• Assists in instructing residents and families in home programs, basic living skills and use of adaptive equipment.
• Maintains punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
