The Weston Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under an Occupational Therapist within our facility in South Carolina. The COTA administers treatment plans and assists with patient documentation under the supervision of the OT.

The role requires accurate record-keeping, effective communication with the care team, and adherence to safety and insurance guidelines to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care skills and compassionate interaction.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping responsibilities.
• Effective communication with physicians, POA, nurses and therapists.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates proper OT techniques and treats patients effectively.
• Maintains and documents patient records with accuracy.
• Communicates changes in patient progress to the care team and adjusts plans as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, POA and therapists to ensure quality care.
• Contributes to department operations and adherence to policy and guidelines.
