Amedisys, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our home health team in Riverbanks, SC. This full-time role offers a 1:1 patient ratio, a flexible schedule, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You will provide skilled interventions under the supervision of an OT and document visits per AOTA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant in the assigned state.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Eligible to take NBCOT entry-level certification.
• One year OTA experience recommended; mentoring if less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled interventions per physician-approved plan of care under OT supervision.
• Documents each visit per AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observes and reports patient response and changes to the supervising OT and staff.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and engagement in daily activities.
• Keeps updated on OT trends and care coordination.
