Job summary

Holland Center is seeking a full-time COTA- Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. New grads welcome and a $4,000 sign-on bonus are offered to attract top talent. Overtime may be required based on patient load and facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of an OTR.
• Assist OT in identifying suitable patients and refer to rehab.
• Document progress weekly and obtain OTR co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation as per state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or regional manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have current COTA license
