Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles. The position offers daily pay and involves delivering evidence-based treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to patients, with emphasis on geriatric and long-term care settings.

You will document progress, collaborate with the care team, and maintain professional standards, aiming for excellent patient outcomes and timely shift adherence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide treatment by adhering to specific goals developed by the OT.
• Communicate patient progress and feedback to supervising OT as required by policy.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure patient-centered outcomes.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient progress.
