PeaceHealth Springfield Rehabilitation Hospital in Eugene, Oregon, is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist in a brand-new IRF setting. You will assist with therapeutic interventions, document care, and support compliance with regulations, payer rules, and quality standards.

Applicants must be licensed as a COTA in the state and CPR certification is required.

Formación

• Licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state where services are rendered.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work under supervision of an occupational therapist.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising OT and team.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post-treatment charges to patient records daily.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned
