Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed in La Mesa, California to support residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence with daily living activities after illness, injury, or surgery.

This role focuses on geriatric and post-acute care, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful patient recovery and quality of life.

Qualificações

• Active California COTA license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 6 months COTA experience in last 5 years.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision.
• Guide patients through activities to improve daily living skills.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain documentation of treatments and progress.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Conhecimentos

Active California COTA license

Current BLS/CPR certification

6 months COTA experience within last 5
