Job summary

Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg, IA, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement therapy programs and help patients regain independence and improve quality of life. New grads welcome; full-time, part-time and PRN options with competitive pay and full benefits.

You will work with an in-house therapy team, document progress, and educate patients and families on goals and at-home exercises while receiving mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Iowa COTA license required.

• Experience preferred but training offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing OT programs under supervision.
• Help patients regain strength and independence through targeted exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout sessions.
