Job summary

Cypress Grove Post Acute in Jackson, TN is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The role supports occupational therapists in treatments, plans, and progress documentation, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employment. Open to full-time and PRN opportunities.

Required: OTA credential, TN OT Board license, BLS/CPR, and SNF experience preferred. Benefits include health and retirement plans and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or vocational training in OTA.
• Current Tennessee Board of Occupational Therapy license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Six months of SNF experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support occupational therapists in delivering treatments and plans.
• Develop and document treatment progress and plans.
• Plan and administer educational, vocational, and recreational programs.
• Observe and record patient progress in records.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive skills.
• Attend care plan meetings to review progress.
• Manage scheduling, data collection, and health insurance billing docs.
• Maintain and order therapy equipment and supplies.
