Salinas Valley Post-Acute in Salinas, CA is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated rehab team. You will deliver high-quality ADL and functional mobility therapies under the supervision of an OT, helping residents regain independence in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team.
• SNF experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a licensed OT to provide high-quality therapeutic services.
• Deliver skilled treatments focusing on ADLs and functional mobility.
• Monitor and document resident progress per state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with OT, nursing staff, and medical team regarding discharge goals.
• Educate residents and families on home programs and safety practices.
• Contribute to a team-focused therapy environment.
