Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute is seeking motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our therapy team. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities in a compassionate, collaborative post-acute care environment.

As a COTA, you will implement treatment plans, help residents regain independence, document progress, and educate residents and families. Strong teamwork and communication are essential, with CPR certification required or obtainable during orientation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited OTA program.
• Current, active COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain during orientation.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehab setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement OT treatment plans under supervision of licensed OT.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care and functional abilities.
• Document progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state and federal regulations.
