Job summary

Red Bank Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Red Bank, NJ, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to contribute to patient care in a newly enhanced clinical setting. You will support the occupational therapy team in delivering meaningful interventions and maintaining patient independence.

Active COTA certification and a high school diploma/GED are required, along with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the occupational therapist with tests, evaluation and complex treatment procedures.
• Observe, record and report to the therapist the condition, reactions and responses related to assigned duties.
• Assist the therapist in consulting with patients, family members and other health care professionals as appropriate.
• Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment.
• Assist the occupational therapist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned.
