Job summary

PruittHealth in Griffin, GA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the Therapy Services team in providing post-acute care. You will assist the OT care plan, document progress, and work with supervising therapists to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes professional growth, preceptorship, merit increases, onboarding, and access to a broad benefits program. Relocation assistance is also available in some cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited program and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exam.
• Must hold a current license to practice occupational therapy in the state.
• Ability to document patient care accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the occupational therapy care plan and treatment to patients as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to the State Practice Acts
• Perform clinical tasks, and communicate and document tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings successfully
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor
