Job summary
Chestertown Nursing and Rehab in Chestertown, MD is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time or part-time roles. You will work under supervision of an OTR, provide comprehensive treatment, and contribute to a compassionate geriatrics care team.

Qualifications
- COTA certification required per state licensing guidelines.
- Active Maryland licensure/registration as applicable (as required).
- Experience in geriatric rehabilitation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy treatment under supervision of an OTR.
- Assist OT in identifying suitable patients and referring them to rehab as needed.
- Document patient participation and progress accurately in progress notes with co-signature by the OTR.
- Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
- Assist with other documentation requirements in line with state guidelines.
