Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Randallstown, Maryland, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This role supports residents in maintaining independence and quality of life, with both part-time and full-time opportunities, full-time coverage prioritized.

The successful candidate will assist with treatment plans, daily living skills, cognitive training, and mobility activities, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Minimum 6 months+ experience in occupational therapy or related field.
• Availability for part-time and/or full-time schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the implementation of treatment plans and provision of resident care.
• Conduct daily living skills training, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide cognitive training, memory exercises and problem-solving activities.
• Assist with transfer training, ambulation, and mobility exercises.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document resident progress and treatment notes in a timely and accurate manner.
