Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN positions in Tennessee. The COTA will provide treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, document patient progress, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide feedback to supervising occupational therapist via documentation or other facility policy methods.
• Document weekly progress notes and communicate patient status to the OT team.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong patient service at all times.
